Michael Francesco is an Adjunct Professor of Science, Philosophy and Religion at Bergen Community College, where he teaches Chemistry and World Religions, and is an Adjunct Professor of Physics at Rockland Community College. As a full-time science teacher at Tappan Zee High School he teaches Regents Physics, Forensic Science and a calculus-based course in AP Physics C, covering both Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism, offering students credit through SUNY New Paltz. He is moderator of the TZHS Multicultural Club, and founded the school’s first Science Honor Society, Science Research Program and Science Olympiad Team.
Mr. Francesco graduated cum laude with a Bachelors degree in Physics from Iona College. He also holds a Masters degree in Chemistry from CUNY and a Masters in History from William Paterson University. He has 27 years of teaching experience and holds teaching certifications in Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and a teaching extension in bilingual education for working with Spanish-speaking students,
